| Abstract: | There have been some rapid developments in biomedical engineering in Hong Kong in the past few years, primarily due to the close cooperation of academics at the five major tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and also the nurturing effort of the Biomedical Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. This paper describes some of the activities in biomedical engineering at universities in Hong Kong and our common goal to make Hong Kong succeed as a major centre for research, education and international collaboration in South East Asia and China. |
