Abstract: This technical report includes two recent papers on dynamical neural networks, both dealing with their responses to time-varying inputs, such as one might expect from rhythmic motor activities. The first paper, "Synaptic Coding of Time-Varying Spike Trains", is to be presented at the 1994 Computation and Neural Systems (CNS*94) meeting, while the second ("Frequency-Modulated Neural Inputs and an Alphabet for Synaptic Coding") has been submitted to NIPS'94. Their abstracts are on their individual title pages located at the start of each article.
