| Authors: | Ko, Ngan-Nei |
| Issue Date: | 2002 |
| Abstract: | This teaching package aims to provide a series of teaching aids to teachers teaching thermodynamics for Secondary level (S4-7). A central purpose of the teaching package is to increase teachers' and students' conceptual understanding of Thermodynamics. The teaching package is organized into three phases: They are phase I to III with increasing difficulty and depth in understanding of thermodynamics. Phase I: The basic tools in thermodynamics, Phase II: Understanding Heat in daily life, Phase III: The Law governs the world. The fundamental concepts of thermodynamics (Phase I and II) are emphasized in this thesis. I have also designed a series of handy experiment and activities throughout these three domains. Compared to traditional experiments, these activities are designed to be more easily to handle. more up to date and interesting. The fundamental concept of thermodynamics is emphasized in this thesis. |
