|Summary||The Geotechnical Centrifuge Facility (GCF) at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) has recently commissioned at a state-of-the-art 300 g-ton geotechnical centrifuge. A bi-axial shaking table for simulating earthquakes and a four-axis robotic manipulator for in-flight simulation of construction activities have been developed for the centrifuge. A network-based control, data-acquisition, and communication system is also being developed.|
